Car Modifications

I moved to Finland in Feb. My car is due to arrive in a week. I was told that I need to make modifications so I can register the car. Does anyone have a list of what is required or where I can find this list? Modifications like changing the turn signal bulb color, Rear fog light etc,

Don't worry,

before registering the car you have to bring it to katsastus, they will inspect the car and give the list of needed modifications, then off you go to the dealer's service or anywhere else to fix these problems.
Then back to Katsastus and voila.
(Yeah, tax office somewhere in between as well)

If it's a LHD US car, then there shouldn't be many changes required.

You'll need to have side indicators (on the front wings) if you don't already have them.

Rear bumper side reflectors have to be yellow instead of red.

Side indicators? You mean by the front headlamps? What is a rear fog lamp?

What is a LHD US car?

OK...LHD US car... Left Hand Drive United States car... side indicators...those little orange flashy things that you put on when you turn the corner...and a rear fog lamp - thats like an extra red light on the back of the car thats a bit brighter so prople can see you when its foggy...

My car has no side indicators. They are only next to the headlights. Meaning they are not by the door. Will I have to have the dealer drill holes in the side of the car? What about if I get the ones that are by the mirrors?

side indicaters are them lights above the wheels at the front,,on the front wings
