Darts

Post by jc444 » Sun Mar 26, 2006 2:05 pm

Does anyone know where to buy darts in helsinki? Not the cheap ones (that come with that popular finnish darts game, name of which escapes me, actually never had a grasp of it for it to escape but you know what i mean), but proper branded darts. i know Finland has a few pro darts players I think there is an interest in darts here (although i have not seen it).

cheers.
jc

Go to any sports store... well, not any but the bigger ones, say like Stockmann or Sokos sections might carry some. There is a specialst store in Haaga specializing in billiards stuff and IIRC they also carried darts stuff...

or then of course ebay.co.uk ;)

I have been in Mascot bar on Neliaslinja (spelling?) beside Hakaniemi a few times when there have been some pretty tense darts competitions on.

There are a few boards upstairs. It might be a place to try if you wanted to get into the game over here. Also I think there is a sports shop on Hamentie that sells darts.

Don't worry too much about it Hank. I just read that your photographic memory suffers from shortsightedness so I think you can be excused this one slip.

You missed the Halal Liha store across the street. Ethnic diversity at it's best:)
