Maybe its because he has been arrested. That party organiser guy was named after he was arrested for the roasting/gang rape

Aha so once arrested the accused can be named, But not the victim, interesting. No arrests in the other incident then? Maybe there wont be now!

To be honest I dont really know, but it does seem that once arrested the media can report "so and so has been arrested in connection with blah blah"

I am guessing it then becomes a statement of fact?

Olly, maybe as you're a United fan you can enlighten me regarding the attitude of 'some' United fans towards the England team? Recently at Leicester they were taunting the Leicester fans with chants of "are you England in disguise" and I've heard them chanting "Argentina" quite often in an effort to wind up opposing supporters.
Did this all start with the Beckham situation after the Argentina game in the France world cup, or did it begin further back than that?

Its always been like this in the North west, cant say about the rest of the country. I remeber hearing that after john Barnes had his usual nightmare for england, he was showing what a good player he was at anfield. The opposing fans sang "where where you for england?" and the kop started singing "who the f*** are england"

Its just a joke really. Its great for winding other fans up

United fans get a lot of stick so we have to take the piss a bit too

Of course most of us want England to win really. But a lot of the England supporters are just so "Anything But United" Its unreal. Your from Bolton, ever been on an England away? Don't know what its like for a Boltonian, but its not a barrel of laughs for a manc especially a red one

The away fans were V funny at Leicester, they were cheering every pass Leicester made. Have a look at the reactions it gets

They made us seem pretty quiet! That's the loudest away support I've heard yet at the Walkers! Didn't like the Anti England songs even if it was a wind up. Also didn't like it when the sang "England, England" when Muzzy went to take a corner

to see the Nevilles Scholes Beckham at the time Butt Wes Brown all on the pitch and the fans in the crowd singing stand up if you hate Man U

Yes, I used to go but I 'retired' from that scene long ago. My last away game was in Belfast in about 1986 I think. I used to enjoy going but some of the stuff that went on at some games was crazy. I was at the infamous 'riot in Turin' game when the players left the field due to tear gas and I saw some sickening scenes in Basel once.
Being a Wanderers' fan it was my only opportunity to follow a team in europe

How did you get treated by the fans from the rest of the country? Being from the North West?

Well it probably woudn't have been such a hassle to support United and England back then, as United were crap, and there wasn't so much of the hatred for us as there is now. Maybe Liverpool had the same problems back then?

1986? Weren't all English clubs banned from europe then? Would have been the only way for fans to follow a team out of Britain. Great world cup that year but Mexico is a bit of a long un

Yeah, I went to spain with a couple of mates. We went on the boat, Plymouth - Santander.
We used to get on ok with most other England fans most of the time. Just once in Basel when some of the england *fans* were running out of people to fight they decided to look for northerners to beat up

It was a bit scary but we got out in one piece !
