Hello .
Hello,
Just wondering what the age limit might be?
im guessing 20-22 on the weekends ?
Could it be 18 during weekdays?
And what are the opening hours?
Been thinking about checking the place out , i've heard a good deal of great things about it.

HEY GUYS
big party at the aussie bar on tuesday 25th april, the farewell party for two of the bartenders, Bejay and Liam (the hot one with the pony tail apparently hey padster?), its also the one year anniversary of the Aussie Bar and ANZAC day celebration day so it should be good fun!!
pop in and have a coopers, or passionate sex on the beach or petes creamy stuff...all good stuff!! Live music too, and im not ashamed to be plugging the place either guys
let me know what ya think of the place, criticism or praise (try and make it constructive criticism though!)

AUSSIE13
I was in there the other day and have to say that i was well suprised that there were actually Aussies working behind the bar! I always had the impression that it was owned and staffed by Finns trying to cash in on the whole Australia thing. But low and behold, real dinky di true blue Oz types!!
Talk about a pleasant surprise. Was my first real opportunity to talk a bit of strine in a while and i enjoyed it alot. And having a few Coopers was just fan-f*cking-tastic!
Not sure if aussie13 is Pete the bartender but if you are, g'day from Pete!
I'm going to try and be there on the 25th, just depends how my shifts go.
Cheers, Pete.

The only complaint I had about this place (like any other place in Helsinki on a Saturday night) was how crowded it was. And, like most places that the door guys are pretty stiff.
I LOVE that the bartenders actually understand the idea of SERVICE, and actually make eye contact with you, and pleasant conversation as they serve your drinks. I would willingly pay more or happily pay the already expensive prices in this town if people didn't seem like such drones that hate their job and serving people. Lots of different kinds of drinks. Lots of eye candy, but not a meat market. Drink prices avg for Hel.
Oh, and to the yahoo that doesn't like Latin music....learn how to dance or go to a bar. Not a club with a dance floor. That's part of the unstodgy fun of this place. Or just sit back and enjoy the view if scootin' around isn't your thing. There are quiet corners to escape to. Don't be a hater!

Aussie pub
Can someone tell me where it is ?, I agree you should as an expat, NOT just hang out in expat bars, and take the "when in rome" attitude. But once in a while its nice to hear an aussie accent and just think about why your not in Australia and how sweet finland is....

Well, do you know where Molly Malones is? Outback is "right across the street" in between... mmm.. Eatz and the movie theatre complex on Kaisaniemenkatu. Now as that city block is full of bars and movie theatres, don't stray like I usually end up doing...
