As a tourist..or as a student?
People do not become more irritable as they grow old - they simply stop making the effort to avoid annoying others.

Hi,

Depends on what you'd like to do here... we can't really arrange you anything on this forum, but have a look at these pages for a start!

Tourism: http://www.finland-tourism.com.cn/ (in Chinese!)

Studying: http://finland.cimo.fi

Working (general info): http://www.mol.fi

Permits etc: http://www.uvi.fi (and the Finnish embassy in your home country...)

See also: http://virtual.finland.fi/ and http://www.infopankki.fi

On a more general note about how to go to Finland... just travel West, aiming between Russia and Sweden and Bob's your uncle

I thought the Ostrobothnian knife-artists who walked home from Siberia put the sunrise toards their back and just followed the railroad

Don't be so sure about Finland just yet. I suggest you plan a vacation in December/January, and see how you feel about the Finnish winter first. Helsinki weather isn't as extreme as northeastern China, but it is definitely colder and darker than beijing (Though Finland doesn't have sandstorms).
