I never really cared that different doctors saw me during pregnancy. After all, it is you own "neuvola" midwife who is the most important person at that stage (and also later). Because if everything is normal you only need to see a doctor a couple of times.
same here, but I know people, who are used to the private doctor system and who would like to see always the same person. Their choice, their money..

While I was walking the corridors of Katilöpisto during my 48 hours of labour :ohno: , I recalled seeing a flyer advertising the services of Mehilainen a private hospital.

If I remember correctly, the flyer listed the costs for delivery at the hospital. 2000 euros for natural birth with no complications and 3000 euros for C-section. Tried to check this up in their website but couldn't find the price list.
