Hi
can anybody help me with a problem? I have two kids the otherone is 4y and younger 1,5y. I need daycare for both of them but nearly every daycare center says only over 3y are taken in. I'm looking for such daycare in Helsinki close to Jollas, Kulosaari, Tammisalo, Herttoniemi. Also in Vantaankoski would do - yhat would be close to my work.
Thanks for all the advice in advance

Any English Daycare centres taking under 3 yars olds in?

if you need a child care for a child under 3, it can only be in a päiväkoti! that's the Finnish law

I do Know that päiväkoti is the only possibility for a child under school age.
My concern is - Are there any English speaking päiväkoti, which would take a 1,5 Y old girl in? Everyone I have contacted has replied that only over three or turning three in few months are welcome.

because they are not päiväkoti"es"

this is why I said only päiväkoti"es" take children under age 3...in other words, English, French, Japonese or whatever the origin daycare centres are not working as päiväkoti and therefore cannot take kids under age 2,5 - 3
