Hi,
does anybody know of any places where you can play ping-pong (or table tennis) in Helsinki? It seems to not be that popular here.

Hey, the place is actually quite cool, the tables are OK, and you pay 2 euros / hour (well, nobody really checks). Just in case this is useful for others.
It's also nicer when some girls training for some gym thing keep running near you, although it tends to reduce your focus...

I know that the city is very conservative but that was my last knowledge of 1984 or so... glad it worked.

Cheers, Hank W.

Yes, the nubile cheerleaders practicing their moves. Very distracting, as I recall.

Is it an indoor place?

How much snow you imagine as "normal"?

Huh? I just asked if it's indoor or outdoor?
I already talked about it with my girlfriend (she's Finnish) and I guess it's indoor. Pretty close to where we live so I'll guess we're gonna take a look soon.
Aren't there any table tennis leagues (competitions) in Helsinki?

Hi all, I'm a Hungarian stuck in Helsinki till the end of September. I'd really love to play pingpong in the evenings while I'm here, but I couldn't find neither a place or opponents to play. Does anyone feel like organizing a session with me to try? I live in Töölö, close to the sport center.
