If somebody know(HELP PLEASE)????

Post by senni » Sat Aug 19, 2006 2:09 pm

Hello everybody!

I'm writing to you with some qestions which I hope to find somebody who can help me at least in some matter.
QUESTION WILL BE ABOUT AU PAIR,COUPLE REGISTER,ANNOUNCE DEPARTURE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY THAN FINLAND AND REGISTER IN NEW FLAT HERE IN FINLAND.

First of all.Till last day fo september I have a temporary stay and work as an au pair.Preplan mine and my host family was that I will stay with them a second year but.... after my visit in Police office this matter can change a little bit. I'm waiting for a answer if it's possible to stay here a second year but I almost sure that I can't stay in this same Family a second year.(next week I will have a answer about this matter).

1. First my question is exactly about this au pair matter-DO YOU KNOW (or somebody from your friend, family) that somebody has a situation that au pair was 2 years in this same Family,or in another Family, here in Finland?!

2.Which kind of job could be possible to work like a babysitter with this same family but live-out.Where,how to register and ask about that and also where to find a minimal salary and taxes in this matter(maybe somebody know)

Second thing which I want to ask is about something totaly different.
Me and my boyfirend would like to register (enroll) us as a couple.I heard that I need a some document to do it from my home country.Could you please tell me :
3-Which Kind of document this should be and what should be include there?
4.Which kind of papiers, documents etc I need to take with me to my homecountry to make this papier?
5-Another things which I have to know?!
6.How is about my staying here-is it enough that I'm here temporary and my permanent stay is in my homecountry or I have to be here register permanently?
I don't know what I should do at first-first announce departure and after that make this couple register or first take care of this couple register and then announce departure?

Next matter is about this announce departure from homecountry and register here in Finland.
7.Do I need some document to my homecountry if I want to announce departure me from my flat?
8.Which kind of documents I need to take with me to Finland when I want to register me in this same flat as my boyfirend(renting flat).
9.How register processing is looking here,in Finland?

I WILL BE SO THANKFUL IF AT LEAST FOR A PART OF THAT SOMEBODY COULD HELP ME.I realy hope that somebody has this (some of those) situation before and can share with me experience.

Greetings.

Senni

You don´t register or enroll yourself as a couple anywhere unless you are of same sex and want to "get married". If people of opposite sexes want to register their relationship that is called marriage. And if you don´t want to get married you just live together without any registrations.
Which kind of documents I need to take with me to Finland when I want to register me in this same flat as my boyfirend(renting flat).
I don´t think you need anything. But make sure that the rental contract is also in your name, not just your boyfriend´s.

I heard about something called "civil union" or something like that, meant for opposite sex 2 people who don't want to get married bt want to be "registered as a couple". I might be wrong though.

Civil union just mean civil marriage in a magistrate, not church. Performed by some official, not a priest.

Senni, you could also go to all day care centers in the are and ask if they need a "päiväkotiapulainen".

it is not possible to stay for a second year as an au pair in the same familly(my gf had this problem), and to stay as something else it is reallly hard, the best bet is for u to enrol somewhere as a student and then you can get paid for the part time hours( this i think is an option if you from outside the Eu.)

From your counsulate you can ask them for what document you need to get married, usually they will have your civil status, and will give a piece of paper stating so , and then u go and be a couple that is marriage!!

which country are you from ?? that is the main question , if you are form the EU non of this applies to you!

Thank you for a reply.Of course not all the things are yet cleary but maybe soon will be.
I'm Polish,so I'm from EU what is a little bit easier to make all this things that for somebody from non EUcountry.

What do you think that it's the best in my situation now?Like I said my temporary stay permission it's valid till last day of september. What I should do next?

ANd btw.If there really isn't any *register for couple of different sex* so what's can get a person who has a Finnish partner and they are leaving together?Because I heard that this can be similar to marriage, like f.e. KELA.

Greetings

If you came here in the "old system" and needed something or the other that is old history now. You just go to the police and register yourself as a EU-person and if they want some reason you put in living with boyfriend or watching paint dry. The process is different from the old system when "new EU" was subject to the work permit process. You are EU, not Polish. EU does not need any au pair papers. You can get a job and listen to kids scream all day long ;)

If you live together you live together. As easy as that. There are papers then that have a tickbox between _avoliitto and _avioliitto and you have to know which is which. But there is no other 'registration' except that you are living in the same address.
Cheers, Hank W.

Jup, it's possible to register as a couple without getting married!
My friend did that with his foreign girlfriend so it was possible for her to get the finnish unemployment benefits!

Hello.

I know already that I can't stay this second year as an au pair. That's for sure was before but also this women from Police said this to us (after 5 days waiting:P ).
My employers are already checking how much can be and how will looking a situation when they will hire me as a nanny (f.e half part nanny). If this will be not much more than before I have got (380 per month) that maybe this will be possible that I will stay with them.
If not that we will just register with my boyfriend in this same flat(WICH WE ARE STILL SEARCHING BTW_FLAT IN PORVOO NEEDING!!!).

The most importent is get now directly after first year temporary resident a second year without any breake. Btw should we then do all the papiers before the end of this first year it's end.Do you know how long it's taking?
