My fiancee is a Finnish Citizen, but i am a no EU-Citizen(Chinese),

now i have been study in Finland 3 years, We are planning to marry in

Finland, next week i can get my Single

Certificate from China embassy in Helsinki.

As a foreigner, where should we go and register?

Is it very complete and take long time to finish theregistration for

no EU-Citizen in Finland? :!:

Well, you go to the maistraatti and ask for them for the investigation of predicaments, avioliiton esteiden tutkinta. Then after a week (if nothing odd happens) you will get the 'licence to marry' so you can make an appointment at the maistraatti, the ceremony of civilian marriage is very short.

so, only a single certification is enough for me to make the register?

how long does it take all the registration finish? because i konw in German

it's quite complex to marry with foreigner, and waiting for half year,

how is the processing period in Finland?

It takes 5 minutes the time I was a witness. To get married that is.
The paperwork needed they will tell you in the maistraatti. It may be the certificate is enough, maybe they want more. Ask your Finnish person to look up the process on the appropriate webpages and that will explain the process more in detail what I wrote. Depending on your city, there is also phone numbers you can call and ask, they will explain the process no problem.

Then getting the residence permit - *that* can take 6 months or more, but that is another thing alltogether...
