Ms Romi Bean of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders:

Best thing about being a Broncos Cheerleader?
The privilege of being able to represent a nationally respected organization throughout the Denver community as well as exercising my passion for dance.
Most memorable experience as a Cheerleader?
This past summer I was afforded the opportunity of traveling overseas with 11 teammates on an Armed Forces Entertainment tour to Iraq, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates. Having the chance to connect with our men and women overseas and boost their morale is a gift that I feel so blessed to have been able to experience. It was incredibly enriching and I will cherish the memories forever.
How do you spend your time off of the field?
Being a full-time student, school and studying occupy much of my time. I also teach dance classes and spend quality time with family and friends.
Most memorable game?
Without a doubt, the 2005 Monday Night game against the Kansas City Chiefs; the stadium was a sea of orange and blue, the crowd was roaring from start to finish and Mile High Magic filled the air!
Occupation and how does Broncos cheerleading affect your work?
As a full-time student, time management, focus, and structure are the essential keys to succeeding and maintaining a busy lifestyle.
Who do you admire the most in the sports industry?
Rod Smith because he is a model of compassion, sincerity, selfless leadership, and determination. Despite his continuing success as a player, his humility and community involvement remains steadfast and exemplary.
Favorite book?
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Graduated from university with a degree in Business Management/Marketing and pursuing a career in the highly competitive business world, as well as exploring the entrepreneurial side of business.
What is the best thing about Broncos fans?
Their unwavering support, loyalty and energy.
What do you do in your spare time to relax?
I enjoy being outdoors, skiing, watching movies, and taking walks with my mom in the evenings.
Best advice for kids?
Never give up on your dreams: if you believe in yourself, all your goals are within your reach.
Best gift ever received?
My family and my education.
Your most important goal in life?
To unselfishly live life with no regrets, achieve my full potential, and find fulfillment and happiness in all aspects of life.
How does cheerleading fit into that goal?
Our involvement in the Denver community allows me to reach out and hopefully touch the lives of others while simultaneously giving me the opportunity to learn and grow from every experience.
Place you would most like to visit?
Greece and Australia.
Who has been your greatest inspiration?
My mom – she is such a strong woman with a heart of pure gold. She pushes me to be the best person I can be and is my best friend.
What is one thing you value most in life?
My family.
Toughest thing about being a cheerleader?
Overcoming the stereotypes. Our team is overflowing with talent, experience, and poise. 34 women who successfully integrate careers, studies, families, and personal lives with their dedication to dance, cheerleading and supporting their favorite football team.
Two people you would like to have dinner with?
My grandparents who passed away before I was born and Nelson Mandela (and Will Ferrell of course!)
Favorite thing to do in Denver?
I really enjoy attending professional sporting events, seeing shows with my family downtown, and taking advantage of the many outdoor activities that our wonderful climate affords us.
Three words that best describe me are:
Passionate, ambitious, and sincere.
Most prized possession?
My health.
Greatest accomplishment?
Taking my dancing to the professional level as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader and having the opportunity to extend hope, support, encouragement, and a taste of ‘home’ to fellow citizens stationed on foreign soil.

It'll bark and snap at you when you come home late, and run around when in heat, but boy are they good to look at. But much less trouble.
