American & British candy and more: now there is a NEW so

Post by Mr.Nibble » Thu Nov 02, 2006 4:50 pm

Hey guys!

Storm Trading, the importers of British and American foods to Finland, has opened a new concept store in City Käytävä, downtown Helsinki.
I am happy to tell you the Mr.Nibble (Yup! that is the name of the store) has a wide range of especially American products in stock now.

Storm Trading is quitting the import of many of these products and so the prices are very competetive! Come check out the store and will tell you more. Oh, that even rhymed :)

Feel free to ask any questions here and I will do my utmost to answer them all as promptly as I can.

With all the best. Hope to see you soon!

Aaron (yes formerly of Behnford's)

There's something that you seem to have forgotten;
Eat candy and, ere long,
Thine teeth will be quite rotten.

My favorite sauce is Ass in Space.

The one named Blair's 3Am Private Reserve, Pepper Extract (with skull) caught my attention.

Something that would, no doubt, make you share the "bon voyage" feeling of Matti N.

Storm Trading is the company that used to provide Behnford's with alot of the items they sell. Now that partnership has ended and Storm Trading has opened a retail outlet of it's own called Mr.Nibble.

The concept of Mr.Nibble is to make some of the best candy, chips and drinks available to the finnish market at reasonable prices. Due to the abrupt end of co-operation with Behnford's, Storm Trading is left with a large stock of regular grocery items from America. This stock is now being sold to make way for the new products that are going to be making up the selection at Mr.Nibble.

The prices are very reasonable compared to what has previously been available here.

Current stock at Mr.Nibble includes Peanut Butter, Taco Bell Refried Beans, Lay's Staxx, Newman's Own Dressing, Cake Mixes, Pancake Mixes, Syrups, Pop Tarts, Cereal, Jell-O, Mr&Mrs T's Drink Mixes, Pop Corn, Pumpkin Pie Filling and Ready Crusts, Tabasco Chipotle Sauce as well as candy, chips and sodas.

Hope you com check us out soon.

Hmmm... might as well! The said items - especially peanut butter  - have been discussed so often on this forum that I might be tempted to check them out!

However what I'm craving for RIGHT NOW is vinegar ch... crisps.

Hi - could you give me a bit better location information as to where you are, exactly, in City Käytävä? Next to? Near to? Thanks!

Do you have a website for orders from people outside of the Helsinki area?

Q&A

Post by Mr.Nibble » Mon Nov 06, 2006 12:04 pm

LOCATION:
The store is located in the corner of Citykäytävä and Marmorikuja, between Tiimari and Rosso. If you can't find us, feel free to call us at 050-5338208.

HOURS:
Our opening hours are still being worked out, but they are currently set at 9am-9pm on weekdays
9am-9pm on Saturdays
noon-7pm on Sundays

VANILLA COKE:
Vanilla Coke, yeah! We get questions about that all the time. It has been discontinued in the UK as well as the US. We are trying to source it from Australia, but this seems to be nearly impossible due to costs. So unfortunately no Vanilla Coke for the time being.

WEBSITE FOR THE PROVINCIALS:
We do not have a website available currently for ordering products. We can however take orders by phone on sundays between 11am and noon at 050-5358208. The sales person will be able to tell you about our products and pricing over the phone and you can place an order that will ship out on monday by Postiennakko, to be paid by the recipent. We are not able to estimate the shipping costs for you but will not charge any extra for our work, just 1e for the packing materials. Hope this works for you for now.

Cheers
Aaron
