Pension issues in Finland for non-EU residence

Post by ee_ycmaa » Thu Nov 09, 2006 7:19 am

Hi,
I'm going to work in Helsinki for 2 years soon and I would like to ask

Q: I will contribute 4.8% and the employer will contribute somethinglike 22.3% to the pension. After this 2-year spell in Finland, I will probably move back to Asia. So can I get the total pension back immediately after the 2-year spell ? Or do I need to wait until 63 yrs old ?

I knew that some countries allowed employee to take the pension back if he/she declares to move to another country (not as residence anymore).

Can anyone tell me more about this or direct me to some links. Thanks!

Kiitos
Hans

You get it how it is looking at 73, and maybe then you get 5 cents a month but the bank will charge you 15 to get it ;)
Theres all the information. You try to figure anything out of it.
