Visa Question

Post by Ghanamyhome » Thu Nov 30, 2006 2:03 pm

my wife is Finnish Citizen, we marriaged month ago, I have applied family tie visa, is this belongs to status A?

Though my Visa is not authorize yet, I want to know, if I get this visa,

Before I get Job in Finland (no salary now), what benefit I can have?

for example, some where can provide me little money to let me survive in Finland at first, and help my to Find Job here

I suppose it is too much to hope that your Finnish wife will support you rather than the Finnish tax payers.
But if you and your wife present your self plus your visa at the local kela office they will tell you how much and when you can get.
Your wife will know where to find Kela.
Until you get the visa...you can only enter Finland as a tourist then you get zero from the state.
People do not become more irritable as they grow old - they simply stop making the effort to avoid annoying others.

A visa is a premit to enter the country, for a visit. A residence permit is what you apply to come and live in a country.

And to get a residence permit on family ties one needs to prove to be moving for family reasons. It is not automatic, as some seem to believe.
