climbing schools for kids

Post by littlefrank » Tue Dec 12, 2006 9:55 pm

A friend of mine the other day told me that there use to be a climbing school in Helsinki where you could take youngish children, I thought it might be a good place for my daughter, cleaner than the trees at the moment and I wouldn't have to fight my way through branches because she's stuck. Does anyone know about this place please?

That's is the place I heard of between Malmi and Tikkurila.

My friend's kids go there but they are 14-17 yrs.

Not sure if it is accessible to younger kids.

I went there for the first time a week ago and am planning to go back next week. The organise classes in English too. It seems pretty good and the guys there seem to know what they are talking about. I cant see anything on their site about kids though but then again my finnish extends as far as "2 pints of your finest please Mr.Barman"
