What does it mean when there are two ages in the rating, like -K7/5?

Doesn't that mean it's for 7-year-olds, but 5- and 6-year-olds can
go if their parent lets them and/or they are accompanied by an
adult?

Good question. We went a few weeks ago to see 'Open Season (K7)', we took Sophie (20 months) and she was allowed in and loved it. Last week we went to see Happy Feet (K7) and she wasn't allowed in, yet I take her to Baby Cinema and she can watch 'The Holiday'. Confused....not as confused as Sophie who wanted to watch the penguins!

I would phone the cinema before going to double check.

It's madness we couldn't go one children movie last year and they told us to go and see "La Marche de l'empereur" which was rated all public. The kids got scared, it was far too much too handle for a 3 years-old! (Frozen pinguins eggs etc :S)

Mine also wanted to see happy feet but were told they needed to be 7. It's stupid as it's a PG rating in the US... Really don't get the logic behind this...
