Patch for rainsuit

Post by suomeksi » Sat Jan 13, 2007 5:19 pm

My daughter's rainsuit has a little hole in it. I know there is some kind of patch that you glue on, I think, since stitching is not an option. Can anybody tell me what these patches are called and where I might find them? So far, I've checked our local supermarkets, but not surprisingly they don't have them.

Thanks in advance!
Cheers
A.

Go to the yarn/sewing sections in the big markets or any market that
has a good selection of stuff like that. I usually go to Prisma for mine
since Citymarket in Sello has a cruddy selection. But you can also find
them at fabric stores, if you can't find the color you like.

Yeah, Kannelmäki prisma had some in the sowing section. They're next to the elbow patches etc.

Yep, I have bought them in Prisma near the knitting etc. Not much choice of colours though. Of course Stockmann in the city has them too, better choice of colours. They do stick quite well and you can cut them to size. Tip: use circles and rounded edges rather than squares because they don't unstick so easily.

I guess that means Stockmann for me, since our Prisma in Kerava didn't have them.
Thanks a lot for your help! Have a flower :rose:
