Hi, our junior team, is training today in the myylypurro bubble hall. Average attendance during these winter months has been about 8 persons. Your son would fit right in, the ages of our youngest if i remember correctly is a shade over 10.
The person to contact at the moment for more information is Heikki Ape, the youth coach: 050 5437383
Maybe we'll see you tonight
Cheers

Anyway, he isn't at home this weekend, gone to cut wood in the forest but will talk to him about it tomorrow. Myllypuro is rather a long way (shame we don't have metro to Matinkylä yet !!!) but I will call the coach to get more info (does he speak ENglish?).
The England/Scotland game is live on France2 at 18h (Finnish time). So I'll be watching it. And France/Italy starts in about half an hour!

Ok, Yes Heikki speaks English, very well and also spanish. We have some big kids in the team, 10 y.o is probably the youngest and oldest i'm not too sure, as there are not enough youngsters to seperate into different age groups they are all training together.
and then we have some small ones in the mens team.
Tell me about the rugby, no satelite to get sky sports, which doesn't show it and the BBC coverage doesn't reach here and of all the channels i don't have is TV2 .-(

Well the Italian team sound very confident (8/15 of them play in France, so the French won't have too many secrets on the field). And there has been a huge TV buildup to the game in Rome, not to mention NO SOCCER all weekend !!! I can post the results on here... but don't expect a commentary
I'm not sure I even know all the rules of the game! I'm really a soccer mum

Same problem here has anyone found any links that stream the games, the normal ones i use for the football dont seem to show rugby, but surely its gotta be out there somewhere.

Well I get the French analog channels with the same dish I get Canal-digital. All you need is an analog receiver (no card, it's public TV, free).
Trouble is, the France Telecom sat is way south-west so you need to be on high ground, facing south to get the reception. And of course, it's all in French

Thanks Penelope, i tried to get the canal plus satelite when i first moved here but they said i would not get good reception, too close to the forest so i had to settle for the canal plus digi box option.
For anyone that wants to see the Wales Ireland game today, the live stream channels that normally show the football say they are showing todays game, as with the football it can be hit or miss but its worth a try.......COME ON EIRE....
