transport helsinki-madrid-helsinki

Post by Nikita » Tue Feb 06, 2007 11:33 am

Hi all!
I'm already permanently leaving in Helsinki and now I´m looking for options to get all my stuff from Madrid to my new home in Helsinki. So, have been looking for railway transportation, since I´ve been told that it is one of the cheapest ways of transporting and since I don´t have rush... Unfortunately, from Spain it doesn´t seem to be easy to find any company that works with Finland. The norest point they are reaching normaly is somewhere in Germany.
I thought even about the option to rent a pakettiauto and go to Madrid. A 7 days trip, to take some stuff (there is not more than a lot of books and some cloths, but no furniture and so!) and my dog. But it´s not a very cheap way, actually since must take the ferry.....
So, the cuestion is does anybody know some company dedicated to the transport helsinki-madrid-helsinki so that I could use form my purpose?

Thank you enk!
Hm the site doesn´t seem very helpful, so it will be better call them, may be.
Btw, I don´t thing u will have problems to move your stuff, since from/to Barcelona everything seems to be easier. So is with the coast in general (for instance Malaga where this company has an office as well). The problem comes from/to Madrid... :?
But let´s see, I will call them...
Thank´s once more!
(Anyway, keep on looking for other options...) :) Feel free to suggest
