Ferry: Newcastle -> Gothenburg (24 hours on ferry)
Drove: Gothenburg -> Stockholm (around 8 hours)
Ferry: Stockholm -> Turku (About 8 hours I think)
Drove: Turku -> Oulu. (Can't remember!

It was a really nice trip, and I got to spend a full day in Stockholm as the ferry didn't leave for Finland until late at night, found a great little record shop and got some LPs I'd been after for a while. Stockholm seemed like quite a relaxed city.
The only bad bit of the trip was because of my car's lights, they are possibly the worst ever built and as it started to get dark and rainy, I was reduced to crawling along the 110km/h roads at around 60-80 switching to full beam whenever possible just so I could see. But that's a problem you probably won't have!
