Family problem, help needed.

Post by JustInTime » Tue Mar 06, 2007 9:07 am

Hi,

I've noticed that recently we had more arguments, and sometimes it becomes quite extreme. The reason probably could be both of us are in a high pressure in job and studies now. We both from the same country and do not have any problem of culture difference.

We both do not have that sort of close "friends" can discuss about our pressure, or any family problems. Sometimes we found that both of us can be driven mad in some seconds...feeling quite bad. I really feel sad, and get no solution on this.

Anyone here has some suggestions? I really need help...since the last argument (yesterday), my wife feels quite sad, and unhappy until now. Hopefully anyone here knows the solution...

Is there any family or marriage consulting personnel that we can discuss about our problem?

There is also a course running in Espoo called "Building a Successful Couple Relationship". I believe it already started on 27th Feb but it is probably not too late to join. Tuesdays from 18:00 to 20h30 in Tapiola. 36€ The course is in English. It is aimed at both married and single people. I think it is broadly based on communicative effectiveness: understanding each other's needs, communication skills etc. There is a phone number (8165 0000)

Click on Information in English (pdf doc) and scroll down to page 3.

No idea. I live in Espoo. Try http://www.tampere.fi or go into your local terveyskeskus or library and ask if they have any info.

I go to Raamattu puhuu church here in Helsinki. We're gonna have a marriage seminar soon. I am not exactly sure about the date but you can check here every now and then... pretty sure it will be over the weekend. I personally know the pastor who's going to speak - he's awesome :)
