Just a reminder that the Aussie Bar in Helsinki has a wide range of union, league and cricket games on the box.
http://www.aussiebar.net/sports.html for more info.
Hope to see some of you league-lovers there for the WCC!

watching the cricket just now.. the aussies (8/141)are getting their arse handed to them by the poms....
71 runs needed of 43 balls

if they lose this its all over.. the poms took out the 1st one as well

the best of both worlds

We like to give in to them at times... So they get all 'big headed' - and then we humiliate them all over again (Ashes).

Hey Odon, Have you tried TVuPlayer? OR pplive?
How about cricketinfo? ( Mostly, I use the live ball-ball commentary posted..)
I have a satellite dish but no programming to watch em..

I am so glad I have found this thread! My husband has spent hours going thro the zillion channels we can get on the satellite & the old viasat satellite we don´t use, to get me the cricket world cup. It seems we can get tv from most countries in the world, from Afghanistan to France, but not the cricket, sigh..... cantt even get the player to play on that link you gave just now, still there´s always the bbc world service, 5 mins an hour summary!

Lovely bowling Carruthers, time for some tea and a round of sandwiches?
I say what an awfully good idea old chap.
We can watch the opening match from the pavillion.
Jolly good show old bean,
Over!
