umm.... mustapörssi is in the K-group... you'll get the same plussa points there as well!!
No. When you buy for more than 300€ a month in K-citymarket (or K-supermarket etc.) you get extra points on your point balance, but you wont receive any extra points for shopping in Musta Pörssi, Intersport, Anttila, Europcar etc...

Not quite. Like credit cards these cards can present advantages to some of its users and negative public externalities. Individuals who are able to seize discounts and promotions without using the card as a decision making tool ("let's buy from X where we can get 5% off" even though X is 10 % pricier...) benefit the most.
at a market level this kind of schemes makes it hard to compare prices, create barriers to competition and to new entrants, all in all raising final prices for consumers.

This is exactly the result experienced in UK retail, where the major multiples' "loyality card schemes" resulted in little of the loyality the planners had hoped for.

"Loyality Card Slags" or something similar was the term used by the industry to describe their customers.

some of the shops can be fussy about what they give you bonus points on, especially if you buy with a credit card. I think it was k-rauta who would not give me points if I paid with my mastercard (which also had my employers name on, even though I got the bill every month). I remember s-market tried this same complaint a while ago. I've long changed to a credit card that doesn't have the company name on and no problems now. why it makes any difference I don't know.

Easy, if the S or plussa-card would have the companys name on it, then it wouldn't be a problem. Companies get (sometimes) discounts etc. so companies are not included in the bonus system.

It has to do something with the taxation. If you pay with a company's card then the bonus you will get is a part of the company's turnover, that will not sho up in the tax statement. I'm not 100% sure about this, but ask someone who knows about taxes and stuff. I know this might be ridiculous but, hey, after all, welcome to Finland!!!

Anyone know if you can apply for a S-Etukortti in English ?
All the forms i've found were in Finnish, and only paper, nothing online so no possibility of using Google Translate on it...

The "risk" is that they will get a perfect overview of your shopping style and habits (what you buy where and when), the dream of every marketing department.
