Vaccinations in Finland

Post by Modesty » Tue Mar 27, 2007 11:48 pm

Hej,

I am still very early with this question (17+0) - but can anybody enlighten me on child vaccinations required in Finland?

I know TB is a must (which is different than what I know from home) but what else is there?

Is the MFR given as one shot? (Saw a very interesting program on TV some time ago - about the risk)

hi, i have a 2 1/2 month old son and according to my neuvola this is the program used in Finland:
>1 week BCG ( not all children get this anymore, only the ones with a higher risk of getting into contact with tuberculosis)
3 months DTaP-IPV-Hib
5 months DTaP-IPV-Hib
12 months DTaP-IPV-Hib
14-18 months MPR
4 years DTaP-IPV
6 years MPR
14-15 years DTaP
i hope that helps...
