Good that they found at least one! Sucks that you had to hassle them
for it though!

Do pardon the following rant:

HOASnet has now been up this week for exactly 1 day. Last week,
same bs. Of course, this is the week that all my final reports and essays
are due and I have final exams in most of my classes. I can't keep
foisting my kids off on the ex so that I can come downtown to work and
do my schoolwork from there. And every single last one of my
classes this semester was on-line

I've had to install all of the specialist programs I needed for one
phonetics class on this work computer, which also ticked me off.
And the final straw was that I had to cancel going out with the M&Ms
tonight because I had to spend an hour at KELA, come back downtown,
go to the library and study and write essays for 3 hours and then
shove something in my face and then come to work so I could ask
for extensions on some of the projects, which I hadn't left to the final
moment, but can't get done because of the effin' network being down
from home. I've also had to turn down freelance work these last couple
of weeks because of it being down and I could use the money since
I have to take the middle kiddo to the States for his birthday this year
and because I promised my grandparents that we would
come

Sorry for the long rant, but I'm getting more and more peeved.

And I try to avoid Kouvola at all cost nowadays. I got so tired of the place
that I went to Barcelona as an exchange student and did as many classes
as I could that could be exchanged for ones in Kouvola so I wouldn't have
to go :D Now I'm just doing my minors, etc., while waiting for the
dept. to move to Helsinki (or get lost on the way).

Never been known as someone who holds back, sorry ;)

RA: It was. I would have stayed in BCN if I hadn't been in love with
the ex-hubby :D

Just calling back this old thread :-)

Anyone else stressing to graduate before doomsday 1 July this year?

I've still got to finish the gradu and take 2 exams. I'm taking a whole week off work and family next week...settling down all by myself in a hotel room for the week, well from Wednesday onwards and I'm going to write like crazy. No phone, no email, no FF ...just me, the computer, my data and a whole lot of articles. And a lot of pizza, coca cola and coffee ugh!

I'm warding off all new hobbies..... going to catch up on sleep, reading and my very neglected social life. I did go looking for bats last night in the woods though :?

Nooo I don't think I'd ever become a framer, even tho' I don understand the pains of getting the diploma. There'll be a bit of a bash soon and I'll put it out for a bit for those who let their support to look at and then .... I don't know. Tho', me and the boss need to have a heart-to-heart about a raise  . I wasn't out the door of uni before they called back and hinted at moving on to the next level, but I don't think I'm ready for that process or of whether its a road worth going down.
