how do I register here?
how do I register here?
I have a question, I am EU citizen and would like to register in FInalnd, i am unemployed. How do I do it?
Probably much the same way as if a Finns was to try to register in Warsaw.
1: Get job
.. or..
2: Marry a local.
..or...
3: Bring enough funds with you when you move from where-ever from to where-ever to.

People do not become more irritable as they grow old - they simply stop making the effort to avoid annoying others.
You'll have to learn Finnish to find any job. There are some Finnish classes offered at the summer university in Turku (in June): http://www.turunkesayliopisto.fi/ (click on the "English"-button).
But many times it has been explained that the order of things to do is important.
1: Learn Finnish well enough to find job.
2: Visit here to check if suitable employment exists.
3: Apply for job(s)
3: Move to Finland. only when 1, 2, and 3 successfull.
Does this apply if I want to work in Poland?
1: Learn Polish well enough to find job.
2: Visit Poland to check if suitable employment exists.
3: Apply for job(s)
3: Move to Poland only when steps 1, 2, and 3 successfull.

You should go to the työvoimatoimisto ask them, or go to the maistraati.dotorka wrote:I have a question, I am EU citizen and would like to register in FInalnd, i am unemployed. How do I do it?
Even though I generally agree with what has been said about the order of things to do when starting life in Finland, I think it's most of the time almost impossible to find work in Finland when still living abroad. This is even more so the case when one is trying to get into low entry positions as opposed to highly specialised and qualified niche work - and so another element of gambling is introduced into the whole moving project, since I think you are more or less bound to take the risk and try to live off your savings and stay at a friend's or something while looking for work.
But this makes sense only once you've acquired at least basic Finnish skills. You don't need to be totally fluent in order to get cleaner jobs, at least in my experience (found a cleaner job after three weeks in Finland, but had been studying Finnish for roughly two years in weekly evening classes before moving to Finland). My Finnish was rather broken in my first job interview, but they gave me the job. I guess if you can communicate somewhat and they are desparate to find workers, chances are good for finding manual work like cleaning.
