Nice!! I was thinking I was going to miss this one due to being in the countryside. But then again...England friendlies are dull and disappointing.

Nearly a year after Sven goes, we end up with the prospect of the same midfield turning out that was so often berated. Fair play, Beckham has earned his place and good on him...but Fat Frank...why o why.

I know Sven got bashed big time by the media AND fans..BUT..he ALWAYS picked the team the majority of the country would of picked. When the team would come up on the screen in the pub everybody would quietly agree...but McLaren is a moron beyond words...his team selections are beyond BELIEF!!!.........MORONIC!!!

Just ask any Boro fan...they were dancing in the streets on Teeside when he left.....

I really liked SGE. For his whole tenure, not from hindsight provided by McClown. He got disgusting treatment for actually getting us consistently to tournaments and battling for things. The way he was forced out by the media was almost as sickening as this 'must have an English coach' !"#¤%.

Not only was it xenophobic, but we don't have any good coaches.

SGE was great I agree, until he said "Wayne Rooney is the future of English football", just after their world cup exit (& Rooney´s sending off after kicking a fellow player where it hurts, idiot teen!)
But ANYONE is better than McClown (I like that version of his name!), I think it should be Martin Jol for manager (Dutch manager of Spurs), just my personal opinion!
Anyway, here´s hoping they even qualify for Europe

Personally I thought best choice for the job was O'Neil. Not a man to take Sh!t from players or the media he would have done a great job. But thank you to the FA cos we got him at Villa!!
Oh, God, God, God! What on earth was I drinking last night? My head feels like there's a Frenchman living in it.
