Swishing anyone?

Post by Wheely » Sat Jun 02, 2007 9:24 am

Hi everyone,

a little idea to throw into the air ...

Before my maternity leave I worked in the field of ethical fashion/organic cotton for a little while. I now received an email from this community that raised my interest and I wonder if anyone of you would be interested in organizing a "Swishing Party".

Please have a look at the following link: http://www.swishing.org/ and let me know what you think.

My idea would be to include baby clothes, childrens' clothes and possibly other items, as well as your own clothes, shoes, bags ... whatever. I, for sure, have both beautiful baby clothes and some things of my own that just do not fit anymore but that would most probably make someone else happy - and I think by "swishing" these items might find a new owner.

Would anyone be interested ... this might be an idea for a summer barbaque day?!

Marianne
