Dear lazyweb,
Our baby is getting big and he almost can't fit in his first car seat. Time to buy a second, our first one purchased in Finland. Where would you go in Helsinki or surroundings to pay the most reasonable price for something good?
Thanks for any advice.
(I'm not asking for the impossible, I just know that me alone will hit the most expensive shop perhaps for no very good reason)

Where to buy a new baby car seat

I remember when we moved from infant seat to car seat, I bought it from Stockmann. I saw the same thing in a store like Lastenturva for much less. You should check there and Lastentarvike.

I recently bought a second car seat as the first one was getting small. After visiting the local baby shops, trying the seats and finding one which wouldn't be a pain to move from car to car (some of them have awful securing systems), I settled on the Recaro Young Sport and it would have cost something like 300 euros. Then I found this place in Germany,
kindersitze-shop, which was 70 euros cheaper including the delivery charge. Delivery only took 4 days.
So, if you don't mind ordering from the net and can wait a week or so, I highly recommend them. There are a few comments from Finnish buyers, so that should help to give a better overall picture of the company.
