I would suggest meeting this Thursday at the Korjaamo (http://www.korjaamo.fi/) - weather premitting - it just apparantly may rain on Thursday
Should there be any changes then I will post it here before Thursday morning.The address is: Töölönkatu 51 b - where Eino Leinonkatu and Toolonkatu meet. It is a yellow building on a patio part with some pink piggie statues in the front.
You can arrive there from the centre of Helsinki by bus (get off either at Kisahalli if coming via Mannerheimintie or at Toolo library if via Topeliuksenkatu). You can also take any of the trams 3b, 4, 10 and possibly others ... just get off at Kisahalli. You can use http://www.oikotie.fi/kartta or http://www.eniro.fi to get a map with the location and http://aikataulut.ytv.fi/reittiopas/en gives you instructions on how to get there from where you are.
The lunch selection is not the greatest (sandwiches, jacked potatoes with salad and tapas) but it is a change from Stockmann's and in this weather it is almost illegal to stay indoors after such a rainy and cold july.
If Korjaamo does not seem nice then there are playparks and other cafes nearby. One can also always grab lunch from the nearby picnic cafe and go and enjoy it in the Sibelius park which is quite lovely and has two playgrounds for children. The seaside is also nearby with a lovely little cafe.
