NFL 2007- 2008

Post by mCowboy » Sun Aug 12, 2007 2:55 pm

so since the Viasat Sport apparently did not have rights for the pre-season games, the pre-season kinda sneaked up on me and I missed the first Cowboys game. Luckily I found it online so despite knowing the score, I will still watch it. Anyone else gonna follow NFL this season?

For all Cowboys fans out there...

I "found" the first pre-season Colts-Cowboys game and can burn it on DVD if someone needs it...

Also I have the complete last season of Cowboys games on DVD if someone wants to reminisce...

so I moved this from another thread...

What do you think about the boys? I'm saying 11-5, win NFC east, and then win two games in the playoffs.
well Romo played well in the first preseason game, so looks like he shook off the last year's with the kick setup... but he's still green, he's problem is still hogging the ball and not getting rid of it asap...

Brad Johnson as the secondary QB, if Romo starts to get nervous... not the greatest, but overall solid performer.

TO... lotsa potential, if he got his hand back in order after the surgery... as long as he doesn't start the whole off court show..

Barber and Jones.. so we should have great running game going... Tiki needs someone to inherit his title...

Roy's still there... I'm looking forward seeing him in action again... gotta love him...

lemme look at the schedule and give you my prediction.. or should we take this to another thread... NFL 2007-08... ?

Ok, so here's my predictions of the upcoming Cowboys games' results

Sun, Sep 9 NY GIANTS (NBC)

0-1 first game stiffness, NYG is always a tough, more mentally thou. If Eli gets his game going and they find a successor for Tiki...

Sun, Sep 16 @ Miami (FOX)

1-1 should be a nice game and relatively easy victory for Cowboys.

Sun, Sep 23 @ Chicago (NBC)

1-2 Bears... Superbowl... tough game if Grossman gets his game going...

Sun, Sep 30 ST. LOUIS (FOX)

1-3 STL was tough last season, and prolly will be again...

Mon, Oct 8 @ Buffalo (ESPN)

2-3 should not be great problems..

Sun, Oct 14 NEW ENGLAND (CBS)

3-3 should go smooth..

Sun, Oct 21 MINNESOTA (FOX)

4-3 a bit tougher, but should win

Sun, Oct 28 BYE WEEK

Sun, Nov 4 @ Philadelphia (NBC)

5-3 toughie again, but we can make it

Sun, Nov 11 @ NY Giants (FOX)

6-3 should have the momentum going by now..

Sun, Nov 18 WASHINGTON (FOX)

6-4 last year we took a beating, so might be so this year..

Thu, Nov 22 NY JETS (CBS)

7-4 no biggie

Thu, Nov 29 GREEN BAY (NFL)

8-4 Favre is getting old...

Sun, Dec 9 @ Detroit (FOX)

9-4 ok game

Sun, Dec 16 PHILADELPHIA (FOX)

10-4 might get to surprise them again...?

Sat, Dec 22 @ Carolina (NFL)

11-4 no biggie

Sun, Dec 30 @ Washington (FOX)

12-4 if we've done this good so far, then the Redskins should go down too..

Actually I woulda had 11-5 (the last Eagles game), but I didn't wanna predict the same as yo_mama... it's still a bit optimistic, but whatta hell...

apparently he retired from Raiders' roster after a knee injury and joined the ranks of Porvoo...

Two other Finns were playing last weekend in preseason games, but they don't have the license to play in regular season games...

Well at least Cowboys won Brocos 31-20 on Saturday...

I've been a Minnesota Vikings fan since I was 10 yrs old (so that is 43 years and counting). Been quite a roller coaster, and this year will probably be no exception. Lots of youngsters, 2nd year coach and owner, new coaching staff, anything could happen. :?
