I heard about a crisis centre in Tampere on a different forum, maybe they can give you some legal advice for your situation. I think none of us here is an immigration lawyer so the info we can give you is not really waterproof, I'd think. But I think it's really crucial that you get some information on what the legal possibilities are in this situation, that would probably help you most psychologically speaking.. I heard that you can go to this centre and ask for help also without an appointment:

Have you got any idea how long it would take for your residents permit to come through?

You could call and say your wife is pregnant so you need to work asap, they *may* be helpful. At least they could tell you how long it might take.

In the meantime you could start to look for a job, so maybe you would have a good chance of something as soon as your permit is ready.

Zakaria, you won't find the answer to your problems on this forum. I think it'd be best for you if you contacted one of the centres or institutions mentioned in this thread, sooner rather than later. No-one here on the internet will really be able to help you.

yes i call them and they know she is pregnant and even i had job offer contract and they still did not want to giveme an answer ....even the the employer ring them up and say he wants to know when i get my permit so i can start work with them and they told the employer they cant tell him anything ...so they dont have to wait for me .....they say there is no problem with me, the case take long because of the wife ...about her ex husband who sponsored in the past as she was married to foreigner before me ....and she was able to deport him back to hs country as she said he beat her up ...this wat she said ...is true or not i have no idea ....
so as u know sara i am applying under marriage cuz my wife finnish and also child comming in the way and job offer and no answer yet.

Oh come on mCowboy, I do not "troll" this forum at all. If you read what I wrote, you will understand that I did not say that at all. And as for helping people, I do, but I only help when I see it is needed.
