Congratulations and hope you get the Kela card. When I first applied I was granted the card itself but very limited benefits. But then I went to ask of the reasons and they just reconsidered their decission. So this is to say don't give up
And if you do get job now, they would calculate the benefit from the income 6 months before you leave for maternity leave. And if that income is 20% higher than the tax information available for you then they will take into account that one. So there is point in getting job now just for coupple of months.
My part of questions
Above some of you wrote about the hospital bills that is 26EUR a day. But what is husband stays with us and what's if we are lucky enough to get the family room? What is the cost then?

Sinti, then it costs double €52

We are also hoping for the family room too. Of course it makes sense to pay double as they also feed your husband

Congratulations and good luck for the future.
Do you have any other health insurance in Estonia? If yes, it would be accepted here the same way as Kela card since Estonia is part of EU.
It was my case. I paid the same amount as if I had Kela card earlier this year.

i was still paying the state/public health insurance in my home country although i was registered here in people registry (you should have always insurance at least in one EU country and then it is fine). with that insurance i paid here the same amount as people who have kela card ... eg 26 eur a day at hospital and 20 EUR for scan, neuvola visits were for free.
good luck to get the kela card.
