Anywhere I can take my 4-1/2 year old to see Ratatoille?
I'm having a hard time finding a place that lets my daughter in to watch a movie. They say she has to be 7. But the baby cine won't let her in because she's too old.
Anyone know of a place I can take her or do I just have to wait for the dvd to come out?

That's crazy... Ratatouille is S-rated which means suitable for all ages.

Any cinema should let her in accompanied by an adult. If Ratatouille had been a K7 movie then should would have to be 5yrs old to see the film with an adult. But in this case I don't see the problem.

but I looked on FinnKino's website and couldn't find anything that said an S-rated movie is only open to kids aged 7 or over. S certificate is THREE YEARS and over.Amandine.K wrote:....but like you they have to be 7
Don't understand.
The VET (Finnish film certification people agree with me!!!)

The only thing I can think of is they have dodgy commercials or trailers before the feature film.... now that would be a very mean thing to do.

Never had any problems with Finnkino, either Tennispalatsi or elsewhere like Iso Omena. Little Zax is not yet 4 but he's been several times, and never to the "baby showings". Maybe you caught them on a bad day?
Ratatoullie should be fine as you say, because it's an "S" certificate. Shrek 3 is K7, so 7 year olds alone or 5 year olds when accompanied by an adult.
Usually the commercials are cut to match the cert of the movie being shown, hence when in the UK all of those "PG trailer for an 18 film" splash screens...
