Boys football team (coaching in English)- Vantaa

Post by Mölkky-Fan » Wed Oct 03, 2007 11:44 am

I am becoming coach of my son's football team, and will be teaching in English. The boys are Finnish speaking, but as we lost our coach who moved away, the parents asked if I could do it in English!
The year group is 1997, and location is near Myyrmaki and Hank's house.
Any boys interested in joining in can send me a PM... I think there are two spaces. We win half our matches, but are not in a high division... mostly fun and the parents speak English fairly well.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Best of luck and have lots of fun. My eldest was in an English speaking team (1992) in Espoo, they have had two different coaches from GB. It's a great way of learning English for the Finnish kids. My youngest is now in a Finnish-speaking team 1996 which is great for his Finnish!

See you in Hesa Cup next summer
