All they have done is to highlight the problems associated with Finland...Their negative attitude really sucks...This forum should encourage people who are trying to be a part of finland for whatever reason.

As far as I am concerned - Finnish society is the best, Finnish language is the best, easiest and most beautiful, the Finnish society is the best, and there is nothing whatsoever wrong in how we do things. The biggest problem ..err rather the shock that foreigners face in Finland is how direct a Finn can be ..and if you cannot handle the truth in a forum like this, Its gonna take a long time to get adapted in this society..

I agree with you to some extent...But why is that some people on this forum are hell bent on presenting a dark picture of Finland laced with tons of negative and discouraging views..Why is that their opinions are so lopsided....What kind of propaganda is this?

Being realistic doesn't mean ranting only about the vices associated with finland and choosing to completely ignore its virtues...Why is that people who would like to move here are only confronted with the dark side and never offered any help on availing the existing opportunities...

Well it is boring, dark and monotonous. About 6 months of the year, when its boring, light and monotonous. And I happen to live here so I happen to know first hand of what over 30 years of boring dark montonousity does for a person. However I do like it being boring and monotonous, as compared to being in global headlines.

Well, after 10 years of working and living in Finland I would say that Hank maybe saying how it is, but only on behalf of the culturally uneducated and of course insane. Finland has many layers and Hank is just at the very bottom of what we call Finnish culture.
