How about women's shelters (turvakoti) or homes for parents that need support (ensikoti)? I don't know if they accept donations, but I at least think I've heard that people have donated stuff to them. http://www.ensijaturvakotienliitto.fi/in_english/

Salvation army would also be one, perhaps other churches, too. There has also been charities to Russia, but haven't heard recently about any, but I'm sure there are still around.

Then there are charities like UFF and Fida that have second hand shops where they sell your stuff and use the money for charity work.

You can also talk to your local neuvola and ask them if they have
someone that could use them.

I know for certain that Ensikoti takes donations. I've donated baby clothes there and I know they also take toys. I highly recommend donating to them because they have a lot of teenage moms there who can't afford much for their children. They have a room full of donated clothes & toys that the mothers who are staying there can look through and pick out some items to take for their children. If you need directions or bus routes on how to get there, let me know. It's in Vallila.

Hi! here is the website for ensikoti http://www.helsinginensikoti.fi/ie/index.html

there is the phone number there. I had a list of bus numbers that went there, but I can't find it anywhere. There are several buses that leave from the main railway station and also the 70T bus from kamppi goes there. If you call there I'm sure they can give you better directions if you're coming by car :)
