Online Purchase from UK Site - Taxable?

Hi,

I just bought some apparel goods (diaper bags, to be exact) from a UK registered company on their web site. I wasn't thinking much but are those goods taxable in Finland again? Will it be stopped at the Customs? The original price included VAT.

I had to pay VAT+customs fee when I bought a pair of shoes from the US website once...

It shouldn't be because it is within the EU.

you should pay it if they are sending them from the channel islands like play.com does although finnish customs only charge you if the value is above about 50euro. From the rest of UK the VAT is already collected by the retailer (at UK or finnish rate depending on how much trade they do with finnish customers).
