Well the 'good' is the hard part! Depends how you like your pizza.

At least we have found the places vary a lot. Have you got a pizza taxi nearby? http://www.pizzataxi.fi/

We tend to favour kotipizza but they dont deliver to us, check their website.

Otherwise its a bit hit and miss trying one of the leaflets that come through the door every week.

Personally I think the best pizza is homemade but not good when feeliing lazy

I've tried most of the pizza places in Tikkurila and i really like Pizza Star and Koti Pizza. I don't think KP do delveries from Tiksi but PS sure do.
Pizza Taxi is ok but a bit pricey compared to their neighbour, Pizza Star.
Pizza Express aren't much chop and Pizza Service always always use way too much cheese.
The joint near Yliveto supermarket do ok pizzas but usually are too dry for my liking.
And the one in Tikkuri is ok but i wouldn't go there over the first two.

I pretty much always get a oma-valinta pizza consisting of pepperoni, paprika, sipuli and tomaatti, so comparing pizzas from shop to shop is easy. And the fact that i keep going back means that Pizza Star is doing something right, at least in my opinion anyway.

Pete, have you tried the poro pizza from the pizza place in the airport lower level? I think it's a winter speciality. We've had it a few times when we've gone to meet the ILs on their way to some winter destination. It's a very nice pizza.

I haven't tried that particular pizza (yet!) but i have had others there before. For some reason they are usually disappointing in that they look good and smell good but taste exceptionally bland. Plus i still have recurring nightmares about the time when they covered one of my pizzas in black pepper, man that was a bad day!! Also, i don't always have time to wait for a pizza to be made, we have quite short breaks and every minute counts.

I hope the quality hasn't gone down since the last time I was there. It's been one of those annual treats for a few years.

I'm terribly allergic to rosemary and for some reason every pizza I've ever ordered here is covered in it. :P

I love the Margareita Pizzas from Lidl (3 in a box for 2.50 euros)! I pick off the cucumbers and put pineapple, tuna, and cheese. It's really good for the price and I won't die of an allergy attack.
