Catholic Church with English Language
Hello. I just moved here to Finland couple of days ago. Anybody knows where I can locate Roman Catholic churches perhaps near espoo or Helsinki area_
You can give me the church names and also the location so that I can plan out the route myself.
Also, where are the most Filipino Communities attending these services?
Thanks

Thanks to this thread I learnt that a former collegue of mine Pentti Laukama, who used to work with the Church, is no longer with us: http://www.evl.fi/kkh/kt/uutiset/hei2001/laukama.htm
Pentti was a real example to us.

Mary's church it's every 3rd sunday a mass in english; but every sunday you can pick up a leaflet in english to follow the finnish mass, hope this helps......porcher wrote:Thanks for the reply, but it seems that the masses in English is very limited and it is not done every Sunday.
Thanks though for the information.

ok, well it's not catholic, but prostestant, but it's every sunday at 14:00 at temppeliaukio church in english...
tc, g

You can go to a Finnish language mass and use it to learn Finnish while following along with the English language material they give. I've done the same thing with a protestant church and have found my ability to understand Finnish increase rapidly.porcher wrote:Thanks for the reply, but it seems that the masses in English is very limited and it is not done every Sunday.
