yeah, he can...but it aint like a breeze in the park..for he is non-EU!!, currently not in Finland. the only advantage he has is his specialization in some SAP elements...
but then without knowing his degree qualifications, no. of yrs of experience..those could just disappear away with a local person's competition !!!

Last time I looked Indians can't work in the EU.

It's extremely unlikely that he would be sponsored by an EU company to come from India (which is what would be required) even if his stated qualifications and experience were real. There are a large number of EU SAP consultants who CAN work in EU countries such as Finland.

I was reading an article recently in the Economist which stated that no Indian engineering degree is recognised by any professional association outside of India because of the degree of corruption there. I recently worked for a large company which was 'offshoring' IT work to India. They were sacking people every week because their CV's were fraudulent. More fool them for not checking, I guess.

I would expect to see a lot more 'find me a job' posts like this around the net from India. The population of India is very large.

I think it is every country is equipped with brain and talent; so the more the people the more you need to share the one brain and talent...

Finland has only 5 million people...

Could you please post the reference (Economist) sir? I am a bit surprised by this remark and wish to know a bit more on this... 'cos Einstein said Indian were the best!

India or many asian countries have different tiers of institutes/universities and if you select from these universities you are almost certain to get the right person. And mind you, they are not cheap! Americans recruit tier1-tier3 university/college graduates at USD 60K-80K starting salary for engineers (B-Tech/BE) and USD 110K+ for MBAs.

As far as selecting wrong candidates are concerned, its the company's fault than the country's education system. If the Italian/German/European/US companies have only the cost factor in mind blowing all other reasons or facts away, its a sure short case for a sourcing failure.

On corruption levels, India has made rapid progress in the past few years. You can check for yourself where each country stands in 2007: http://www.transparency.org/news_room/i ... 2007_table
I prefer not doing it, if I can't be passionate about it.

Einstein is DEAD!! so who the Feck cares what he said about Indians more than his greatest contribution!!
