There used to be a big toy shop with old fashioned dolls etc in the Kiseleff House but I don't think it is there any more (the Crocs shoe shop is there, upstairs). And downstairs there are only Russian dolls and a stall selling beautiful hand made marionettes (which are not really toys).

Good point, I cannot think of a doll shop.... there is a dolls' house stall in the upstairs part of Hakaniemi market hall. Selling lovely handmade wooden furniture etc. They might have some dolls.

IIRC Xochiquetzal collects dolls.... (I remember a seeing a photo of them she posted on her months and months ago) she may know of a place (and she has a little girl whereas mine are all boys  )

But for the souvenirs... Hank is right, Stockmann has them.

Depends on the type of doll. What are you looking for?

Asking for a place that sells dolls is like asking for a place that sells cars.

There is a doll and costume museum in Tampere, however. Very well stocked.

Isn't there a doll shop on Mannerheimintie? OK, I just found it, http://www.nukketohtori.com
It used to have lots of porcelain/ bisque dolls
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Isn't there a special doll-shop on Hämeentie approximately across from the market hall as well? Atleat its full of teddy bears and plush reindeer...
