Will never get my kids to sleep at this rate....was hoping for England to smash in half a dozen before half time so I could send them to bed. Argh.

Not good enough, don't deserve to go through. Waiting to hear if Andorra did us a favour? Holy crap!!

The English game is a mess, and blaming foreigners is a sick joke - as is appointing an English manager for the sake of having an English manager. Well done to the FA and Steven McClown: you pair of filthy, rotten, useless cumsocks.

Dogsh*t.

Well, you can't have Roy Hodgson...

There'll be war.

Oh dear, oh dear. And my three doubles of all away wins in the Finland, Serbia, and England games didn't come off, either. I was beginning to get my hopes up when the Poles and Croatia were two-nothing up and the Finns were hanging on in there. Would have collected a pretty penny, too.

Jässi had a blinder.

Not good enough simple as that, you can not blame it all on Mclaren a lot yes but the inept preformances of some of our BIG names must take a lot of the blame too. Gutted for Finland.

Yep, I've always wanted to see him in an Arsenal shirt. Forsell was unlucky with his chance near the end, he was totally committed throughout the game.

And from where i was sitting they should have won the home games with Poland and Belgium. Shame, so near but yet so far.

England. Ha Ha. If the FA had listened to the public they would never have hired Mclaren in the first place, but with their heads up their arses as usual they've only got themselves to blame.

Right just enough time to read the english papers before i go to work

Bag o Sh!te.

I knewe these over rated bunch of money grabbing tossers would screw it up. McLaren what tactics was that man playing last night. Get a simple draw and they were through.

PL best in the world, thats cause there are not many english players playing.

Gutted for Finland, but dropped too many silly points earlier on, but so near.

Where Steve McClaren went wrong was not having Gazza on the substitutes bench, Gazza would not be there to play football of course, but he would have been brought on 5 minutes from the end so he could burst into tears thus deflectng any criticism away from poor preformance of the English team, afterall it is pointless for McClaren to say the players were very depressed in the dressing room, I want to see it on the pitch, it would actually be more entertaining than the football.

What's the difference between the english football team and the HMRC? None whatsoever both have difficulty getting things past the post.

Well who will replace him?..He has gone..."The FA brought a swift end to McClaren's 18-month reign as England's head coach at an emergency meeting."

Given the choice will Roy chose England or Ireland?
