Hi,
I'm currently under negotiation of a fixed-term contract that has three years length. Now I know that in case of lay-off occurs within the valid period of my contract, I will not be laid off without "sufficient" reasons provided by the employer. But what about "me firing myself" within the period? Is it also difficult to be terminated on the employee side?
I found a few explaination on TEK and MOL...However, it is not so clear to me. Thanks.

You can't resign from a fixed term contract. That's why it's called fixed term. However, you can negotiate with the employer to "let you go".

No, it is not so.
To
cafemaker: Period of notice can be 2 months, for example - ask about it.

Thanks for the replies.
This morning I went to one delegate from the work union who's working in my company, and asked about this matter. He couldn't give me conclusive answer right away but agreed to find out abou it. So this issue is on pending at the moment.
Anyhow, I also did a little reading on the Contract Agreement Act, but there was no clear mentioning or ground on this one.
