So can you get your goods sent from the US to the UK thereby avoiding the import duties ( I think that the limit is 175 quid before you start paying) and then have the stuff sent here to Finland (import limit from outside the EU 50Euro).
How else are we going to take advantage of the bog paper dollar?

Hi, I think you'll find the limit is a lot lower in the UK and HMCR have been known to start collecting money once you go over £18!!...In my experience as well I had a clarinet which I owned sent back to me from a friend who "borrowed" it and moved countries - HMRC then demanded a large chunk of tax for it...I eventually convinced them it was mine and they refunded it....but this is most definately not a short cut.

My yeah, my folks did US shopping runs in the early 90's but my Mum got sick of the flying so they stopped.
