Lahti - Messilä with the bus

Hey,

Would like to go boarding this weekend but I dont drive my car in the winter so need to go from helsinki to Messilä by public transportation. VR can get me to lahti in an hour. But i am trying to find our if and when there goes a bus from Lahti to the ski-resort.

Any ideas/links?

I guess you could call or email the resort and ask them. There is no info about public transport on their website.

The finnish site had info about bus connections, http://www.messila.fi/main.php?id=193

In english: buses 40B and C from Lahti (centre) to Hollola church pass by Messilä. For timetables, see http://www.pekolanliikenne.fi

Another bus, number 2 stops in Korpikankareenkatu, about 1,5 km from Messilä. For timetables, see http://www.lahdenliikenne.fi

The bus connection mie posted doesn't run before christmas.
