And Germany is very cheap, riiight...
I come from Romania and the prices many times equal the Finnish ones and you earn (for real!) about 10 times less than in Finland. So, if you know how to buy, when and what, even with the minimum wage you can have a decent life.
Concerning the weather, I keep in touch with my reltives in Germany and the temperatures are almost the same, Finland is however more windy.
So don't bite back just cause you didn't like the answer you've got, ok?
"sometimes stupid @#$% people" // name a country which doesn't have "sometimes stupid people".
I think you and I have our moments of stupidity also. Isn't it?

Free your mind and the rest will follow!
Sheesh, another frustrated newcomer.
Anyway, I think you are being unfair here.
I moved from Germany to Finland this year. No big clash of cultures, people drink just as much and are just as friendly and polite. Munich is just as expensive as Helsinki. Unless you buy your food in Penny Markt or Aldi, prices are quite similar.
Cars and booze are indeed cheaper in .de and that's the biggest pain about Finland.
And since when is the weather in the windy and cold coast of Nordsee better than here?
Oh yeah, and a**holes are everywhere so stop generalizing. Moreover, I am quite sure there are more of them in Germany if you compare the number of inhabitants in both countries.
