US HIM fan of years ,would like to connect with Finnish fans

Post by shawn1980ma » Mon Dec 10, 2007 10:32 am

I am a guitarist/singer/artist myself. And was on a major label when I was 20, im now 27.

I have been a fan of HIM since 2000.

It would be nice to connect with some HIM fans from Finland my age 19-29ish.

thank you.

Why's everybody always going after some top-ten porno goth bands... how about... locals like http://www.bigelf.com ...ok, not local, but the guitarist is a mate... and then of course Shawn, if you want to know what to expect when Finnish guys have a night out  (nevermind the lyrics; observe...)

Which one - the youtube one? Thats Kotiteollisuus... and as Finnish as it gets.

(Bigelf's a multinational I'd say... theres one of their videos... they sing in something resembling Swedish ) Now Finntroll then again does sing in Swedish.

Oh, heres a porno goth band for you - Klamydia (ok... so its a pisstake by a punkband)

But you were looking for those topless Finnish men, heres some Teräsbetoni with lyrics just for you

And heres a lullaby byKorpiklaani

And a wake-up call from Ensiferum.. looks like they filmed at the iron age village off Seurasaari.
Cheers, Hank W.

Well lets see....this will give me away...I saw Led Zep in 1975 for $5.00...You aren't such an old fart after all....
My daughter is a huge HIM fan, but has got me listening to them....Even though Im older...Ville is pretty visually fine, & the music is great!
The Vancouver band mentioned above, has a mix of older metal heads and some younger guys.....
