Well, its the "eternal" student catch-22. There are few companies that "have seen the light" and actually take fresh graduates. However the most seem to have the illusion its "somebody elses" job to provide the initial experience.

basically all big companies have programs for fresh grads. However, due to very tight unions and job security policy companies very scared to hire, especially if they unsure in the result. Hiring a student is big risk as fire him will be impossible after trial.

^^ thanks for the help guys. This thread really helps me alot. :D

I checked my email earlier today and found on my spam folder an invitation for a job interview. Good thing I did not automatically delete my spam folder. :P

It will be on two weeks so I have time to prepare. Do you guys know how many interviews companies here in Finland usually have before they offer work?

Also, I'm not too knowledgeable in case they want to find out about my desired salary.

Do you guys know where I can find the info about salary? How much is the average or basic salary for an entry-level position for someone with BBA diploma?

No they don't :). Simply replay "open for fair suggestions"

Minimal TEC(?) salary. Something like 1200.

I applied to Accenture, as I know a ex-class mate in Belgium who works for them. Got a nice reply back : "Thank you for your interest in our company, unfortunately we have found better suitable candidates".

Oh well, there has to be at least 1 person who thinks I'm worth investing time in I hope.

^^ I also applied to Accenture and got the same response. I applied to the non-IT position, I think the consultancy one.

How does it feel like working for Accenture? They are quite aggressive with their marketing lately. I always see their advertisement everywhere.

Most of the company are looking for someone with experience in SAP.
Is there anyway I can study SAP? I checked the SAP seminars and they are very expensive.

How can I tell companies that I don't have SAP experience but willing to learn it? I know companies like Nokia, required this. So I want to know someone's experience on finding a job without previous SAP knowledge.

Haaga-Helia has the only SAP lab I know they also teach ABAP coding. I'll get my ass there, I did SAP when I did my degree, wif I can get the ABAP off the free university, I might have a chance - and I might be able to get my COBOL done finally as well..

^^ thanks Hank. Is it possible to study SAP in Haaga-Helia considering I am not enrolled to their school? But what if you are an alumnus?

If you get into there on something you get a right to study - if you get let in... don't know if they offer the SAP in free poly, but I know they got the lab... so 2+2 is 5 on big values of 2.
