Hello my name is Aaron and I am a Half Finnish, Half Native-American My Great Grandparents came here from Finland in the 1930's. I just turned 17 and am therefore exploring college options and while browsing the internet one day I ran across a guy who said he was going to college in Finland. So now my major dream is to go to Finland for college I was wondering how I might go about doing so. Sadly I do not speak Finnish as my Grandparents wanted to be as American as possible so I only know a few words

. However I really want to learn, I want my children to speak Finnish and maybe even spend summers in Finland. Ok so anyways I would be very appreciative of any information anyone can give me in the areas of Living in Finland, Work I can do, Expenses, How to get into a University and anything else you can help me with... Thank you very much.
Aaron.
Oh yeah im also interested in hunting laws in Finland as I am a avid bow hunter.

As far as I know you can hunt as many bows as you want. Here's one to get you started ...
You should have been here at Christmas, they were all over the place then.

Have you graduated from highschool? You migh want to do a year as a highschool exchange student before making any college or university decisons. I know a girl from Texas who did that even though she had already graduated from an American highschool. You would be living in a Finnish family (families), and that is the best and most effective enviroment to learn the language. Contact your local Rotaries or an organisation like AFS, they can tell you about their exchange programs.

Hank means the colour. Finns are no eagle-eyes, and black on white is easiest to read.
I don´t know if hunting with a bow and arrow is legal.
